9-Day Tour Programme — Gudauri to Tusheti MTB Tour
Day 1 — Transfer to Gudauri Transfer by car from Tbilisi to Gudauri. Afternoon ride on trails in the Gudauri area to warm up and get a feel for the terrain. Approximately 20km with 1,000m of climbing.
Day 2 — Gudauri to Juta Full day ride by bike from Gudauri to Juta valley. Visit the stunning Juta gorge with views of Mount Chaukhi. Approximately 60km with 750m of climbing.
Day 3 — Juta to Roshka Epic mountain stage crossing the Sadzele Pass at 3,300 metres above sea level. One of the most dramatic days of the entire Gudauri to Tusheti MTB tour. Approximately 20km with 1,000m of climbing.
Day 4 — Rest Day in Roshka Rest day in Roshka. Visit the stunning Abudelauri Lakes — three glacial lakes of different colours set in a high mountain valley. A perfect day to recover and enjoy the scenery.
Day 5 — Roshka to Mutso Cross the Datvi Jvari Pass at 2,800 metres. Ascent by car, descent by bike through remote Khevsureti landscape to the medieval fortress village of Mutso. Approximately 30km with 200m of descent.
Day 6 — Mutso to Girevi via Atsunta Pass The most challenging and rewarding day of the Gudauri to Tusheti MTB tour. Cross the legendary Atsunta Pass at 3,500 metres — the gateway to Tusheti. Approximately 45km with 2,300m of climbing and descent.
Day 7 — Girevi to Upper Omalo Ride through the heart of Tusheti to the iconic village of Upper Omalo, famous for its ancient defensive towers. Approximately 35km with 700m of climbing.
Day 8 — Omalo to Telavi Final riding day — descend from Tusheti via the Abano Pass at 2,800 metres. Ascent by car, descent by bike. Arrive in the wine region of Kakheti. Approximately 35km with 150m of descent.
Day 9 — Rest Day in Telavi Rest and recovery day at the luxury Zuzumbo Resort & Spa 5-star in Telavi. Evening transfer by car back to Tbilisi. The perfect end to an unforgettable Gudauri to Tusheti MTB tour.
